Ingredients 

Pastry Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Water
  • ¼ cup Lard or butter

Filling

  • 1 cup Ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. 1. Mix flour and water to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
  2. 2. Roll out the dough thinly and brush with lard or butter.
  3. 3. Fold and roll the dough multiple times to create layers.
  4. 4. Mix ricotta, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon for the filling.
  5. 5. Cut dough into circles, fill with ricotta mixture, and fold into shells.
  6. 6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
