Ingredients

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut optional
  • ¼ cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix semolina, sugar, yogurt, and vegetable oil.
  3. Add baking powder and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Fold in shredded coconut and chopped nuts if using.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let it cool before serving.
