Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Ahi tuna steaks about 6 oz each
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. Pat the tuna steaks dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub both sides of the tuna steaks with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over high heat until very hot. Add the tuna steaks and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, until desired doneness.
  4. Remove from skillet and let rest for a couple of minutes before slicing.
