  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough comes together.
  4. Press the dough into a baking tray, smoothing the top with the back of a spoon.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into squares or fingers.
