  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  4. Press the dough into a 9x9 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then cut into squares while still warm.
