Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Sausage sliced
  • 1 lb Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 cup Onion chopped
  • 1 cup Bell pepper chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pot, sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic until softened.
  3. 3. Add rice and cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. 4. Stir in chicken broth, diced tomatoes, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  5. 5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Add shrimp and cooked sausage. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  7. 7. Serve hot and enjoy!
