Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Saskatoon berries
  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the Saskatoon berries.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  7. Let the muffins cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
