- 1 sleeve Saltine crackers
- 1 cup Butter unsalted
- 1 cup Brown sugar packed
- 2 cups Chocolate chips semi-sweet
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it boil for 3 minutes.
Pour the hot mixture over the saltine crackers and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Let them sit for a minute to melt, then spread the chocolate evenly over the toffee layer.
Let the toffee cool completely, then break into pieces and enjoy!
