1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
4. Add lemon juice and zest to the skillet. Stir to combine.
5. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fillets. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
