  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  5. Roll the dough into a log, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Slice the dough into ¼-inch thick rounds and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack.
