Main Ingredients
- 1 whole duck about 5-6 pounds
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon rosemary fresh, chopped
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Rinse the duck under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
Rub the duck with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Stuff the duck with minced garlic and chopped rosemary.
Place the duck in a roasting pan, breast side up.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.
