Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken about 4 lbs
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 whole Lemon halved
  • 1 bunch Fresh Herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and parsley

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the chicken with olive oil, then season it inside and out with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Stuff the cavity with minced garlic, lemon halves, and fresh herbs.
  5. Place the chicken in a roasting pan, breast side up.
  6. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
