Rice Kheer Recipe

- ¼ cup Basmati rice rinsed
- 4 cups Milk full-fat
- ¼ cup Sugar
- ¼ teaspoon Cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons Chopped nuts almonds, cashews, pistachios
1. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.
2. In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil.
3. Add the rinsed rice to the boiling milk and reduce the heat to low.
4. Cook the rice in the milk on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the rice is soft and the milk has thickened (about 30-40 minutes).
5. Add the sugar and cardamom powder, and cook for another 5 minutes.
6. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm or chilled.
