  • 1 cup Rice preferably short grain
  • 2 cups Milk whole or 2%
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon optional

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Add the rice, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to the rice cooker.
  3. Stir everything together and close the lid.
  4. Set the rice cooker to the 'porridge' or 'white rice' setting and let it cook.
  5. Once the rice cooker finishes, stir the pudding. If it's too thick, add a bit more milk until you reach the desired consistency.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired and serve warm or chilled.
