  • 1 cup Peas canned or fresh
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, bring the water to a boil.
  3. Add the rice, peas, salt, and pepper to the boiling water.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the butter and fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
