  • 4 cups Red currants fresh
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3 cups Sugar

Instructions 

  1. 1. Wash the red currants and remove stems.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine red currants and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove seeds and skins.
  4. 4. Return the liquid to the saucepan, add sugar, and bring to a boil. Boil until the mixture reaches the gel point, about 20 minutes.
  5. 5. Pour the jelly into sterilized jars and seal.
