Ingredients 

Base

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter cold and cubed

Filling

  • 1 cup raspberry jam

Topping

  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup butter melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and spread raspberry jam over the crust.
  4. In another bowl, combine sliced almonds, sugar, and melted butter. Sprinkle over the jam layer.
  5. Bake for an additional 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
