  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Butter melted
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 Eggs

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until creamy. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the raisins.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool before serving.
