Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar for caramel
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the sugar until it turns into a golden caramel. Pour it into a baking dish, tilting to coat the bottom evenly.
  3. In a blender, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the caramel in the baking dish.
  5. Place the baking dish in a larger pan filled with about 1 inch of hot water (water bath).
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
