  3. Add softened butter and vanilla extract. Mix until it forms a dough.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let them cool before serving.
