Puff Pastry Apple Strudel Recipe

- 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed
- 3 pieces Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Butter melted
- 1 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
- 1 piece Egg beaten, for egg wash
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well.
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Spread the melted butter over the pastry, then sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top.
Place the apple mixture in the center of the pastry. Fold the sides over the filling and seal the edges.
Transfer the strudel to the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly before serving.
