Ingredients

  • 5 lb Prime Rib Roast bone-in
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Rosemary chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. 2. Rub the prime rib with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary.
  3. 3. Place the roast in a roasting pan, bone side down.
  4. 4. Roast for 15 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C) and continue roasting for about 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.
  5. 5. Let the roast rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
