Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk warmed
  • ½ cup Butter melted
  • 3 Eggs beaten

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. 2. Add the warm milk and melted butter. Mix well.
  3. 3. Beat in the eggs until the mixture is smooth.
  4. 4. Gradually add the remaining flour to form a soft dough.
  5. 5. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
  6. 6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  7. 7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place in a greased baking pan.
  8. 8. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  9. 9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. 10. Remove from pan to a wire rack to cool.
