  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ cup Uncooked White Rice
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce 15 oz
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, rice, egg, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1 ½ inch meatballs.
  3. In a large skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
  4. In a bowl, mix tomato sauce and water. Pour over the meatballs in the skillet.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 35-40 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and rice is tender.
