Ingredients

  • 1 cup Polenta (coarse cornmeal)
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions 

  1. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add salt.
  2. Slowly whisk in the polenta. Reduce heat to low.
  3. Cook, stirring frequently, until thickened, about 30 minutes.
  4. Stir in butter and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm.
