Main Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 12 plums halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream the sugar and butter in a mixing bowl.
Add the flour, baking powder, and eggs. Beat well.
Spoon the batter into a 9-inch springform pan.
Place the plum halves skin side up on top of the batter.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and cinnamon.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool before serving.
