  • ½ cup Butter cold, cubed
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 6 Plums halved and pitted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add the beaten egg and mix until the dough comes together.
  4. Press the dough into a tart pan, covering the bottom and sides evenly.
  5. Arrange the plum halves, cut side up, on top of the dough.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden and the plums are tender.
  7. Let the tart cool before serving.
