Main Ingredients
- 200 g Suet
- 250 g Breadcrumbs
- 250 g Brown Sugar
- 250 g Currants
- 250 g Raisins
- 250 g Sultanas
- 1 teaspoon Mixed Spice
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 4 Eggs beaten
- 150 ml Brandy
1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
2. Add the beaten eggs and brandy, mix well.
3. Grease a pudding basin and fill with the mixture.
4. Cover with a double layer of greaseproof paper and a layer of foil, tie securely.
5. Steam for 2 hours, topping up with water as necessary.
6. Allow to cool, then store in a cool, dry place until needed.
