Brownie Batter
- 1 cup Butter melted
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Cocoa powder
- 4 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Swirl
- 8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese softened
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
Stir in flour and cocoa powder until just combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Drop by spoonfuls onto brownie batter.
Swirl cream cheese mixture into brownie batter with a knife for a marbled effect.
Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool before cutting into squares.
