Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz Pasta any type
  • 2 cups Basil leaves fresh
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ cup Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ cup Pine nuts toasted
  • 1 lb Chicken breast cut into strips
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a blender or food processor, combine basil, Parmesan, olive oil, garlic, and pine nuts. Blend until smooth to make pesto.
  3. 3. Season chicken with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium heat, cook chicken until no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. 4. Toss cooked pasta with pesto and chicken. Serve warm.
