Ingredients 

Pesto Sauce

  • 2 cups Fresh Basil Leaves
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • ½ cup Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup Pine Nuts
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper freshly ground

Pasta

  • 400 grams Pasta any type

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  2. 2. While the pasta is cooking, prepare the pesto sauce. In a blender, combine basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, pine nuts, and garlic. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Season the pesto sauce with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  4. 4. Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the pot. Add the pesto sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.
  5. 5. Serve the pesto pasta warm, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
