Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers tops cut off and seeds removed
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground chicken over medium heat until browned. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, chicken mixture, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the bell peppers with the chicken and rice mixture. Place them in a baking dish.
  5. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the peppers, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
