Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon shortening

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter, heavy cream, and peppermint extract. Mix until smooth.
  2. 2. Roll the mixture into small balls and flatten them into patties. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. 3. Freeze the patties for about 15 minutes.
  4. 4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and shortening together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
  5. 5. Dip each patty into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Place back on the parchment paper.
  6. 6. Let the chocolate set before serving. Enjoy!
