Ingredients 

Tart Shells

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 6 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Filling

  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs beaten

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and press into the bottom and sides of a muffin tin to form tart shells.
  5. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, pecans, melted butter, vanilla extract, and beaten eggs.
  6. Spoon filling into each tart shell.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let cool before removing from the muffin tin.
