Pecan Pie Bars Recipe

Crust
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar packed
- ½ cup butter cold, cubed
Filling
- 3 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups pecans chopped
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
Bake crust for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
In another bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir in chopped pecans.
Pour filling over the baked crust. Bake for an additional 30 minutes or until set.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
