Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup sugar

Filling

  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cold butter, and sugar to form the crust. Press into a baking pan.
  3. Bake crust for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. In another bowl, mix pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour filling over the baked crust.
  6. Bake for another 30 minutes or until set.
  7. Let cool before cutting into bars.
