- 4 cups cubed bread day-old or stale
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 units eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups sliced peaches fresh or canned
Caramel Sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup butter unsalted
- ½ cup heavy cream
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the milk, sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract.
Add the cubed bread and sliced peaches to the mixture, ensuring everything is well-coated.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
While the pudding is baking, prepare the caramel sauce. In a saucepan, melt the brown sugar and butter over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Once melted and combined, slowly add the heavy cream, continuing to stir until smooth.
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
Serve the bread pudding warm, drizzled with caramel sauce.
