Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into the batter alternately with the sour cream.
  5. Fold in the peaches.
  6. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top of the batter.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
