- 4 cups Peaches peeled and sliced
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 0.5 cup Butter melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Salt
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the peaches and half of the sugar. Set aside.
In another bowl, mix the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until just combined.
Pour the melted butter into a baking dish. Pour the batter over the butter, but do not stir. Spoon the peaches and their juice over the batter.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
