Pav Bhaji Recipe
A popular Indian street food made with a spicy vegetable mash served with buttered bread rolls.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Butter
- 1 cup Chopped Onions
- 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 cup Mixed Vegetables (Potatoes, Peas, Carrots) boiled and mashed
- 2 teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
- 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
- to taste Salt
- 8 Pav (Bread Rolls)
- for garnish Chopped Coriander
- for garnish Lemon Wedges
Heat butter in a large pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
Add pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add boiled and mashed vegetables. Mix and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Use a masher to mash the mixture well. Add water if needed to adjust consistency.
Simmer for another 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Toast pav with butter on a pan until golden brown.
Serve hot bhaji with buttered pav, garnished with chopped coriander and lemon wedges.
