Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Mixed Vegetables (Potatoes, Peas, Carrots) boiled and mashed
  • 2 teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • to taste Salt
  • 8 Pav (Bread Rolls)
  • for garnish Chopped Coriander
  • for garnish Lemon Wedges

Instructions 

  1. Heat butter in a large pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  4. Add pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add boiled and mashed vegetables. Mix and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Use a masher to mash the mixture well. Add water if needed to adjust consistency.
  7. Simmer for another 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  8. Toast pav with butter on a pan until golden brown.
  9. Serve hot bhaji with buttered pav, garnished with chopped coriander and lemon wedges.
