Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Filet Mignon about 6 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 2 sprigs Thyme
  • 2 tablespoon Butter

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  3. 3. Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, until a brown crust forms.
