  • ¾ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sugar and flour.
  3. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, egg yolks, milk, and salt. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold egg whites into the lemon mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Place the dish in a larger pan filled with hot water.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden.
