Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar
  • cup Light corn syrup
  • ¾ cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Flavoring extract Your choice of flavor
  • ½ teaspoon Food coloring Optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, mix sugar, corn syrup, and water. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  3. 3. Insert candy thermometer. Boil without stirring until temperature reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  4. 4. Remove from heat. Add flavoring and coloring. Pour onto prepared baking sheet.
  5. 5. Cool completely. Break into pieces and store in airtight container.
