  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup White sugar
  • 1 cup Packed brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups Rolled oats
  • 1 cup Raisins

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and cinnamon; stir into the creamed mixture until just blended.
  5. Mix in the oats and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
