Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Raw nuts (almonds, cashews, etc.) or seeds (hemp, sunflower, etc.)
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 pinch Salt

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1-2 tablespoon Sweetener (maple syrup, honey, dates, etc.)

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak the nuts or seeds in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Drain and rinse the soaked nuts or seeds.
  3. 3. Add the nuts or seeds, 4 cups of water, and a pinch of salt to a blender.
  4. 4. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
  5. 5. Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher.
  6. 6. Optionally, add vanilla extract and sweetener to taste, and blend again.
  7. 7. Store the milk in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Shake well before use.
