  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 4 cups rice cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice cereal and peanut butter mixture. Stir until well coated.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch pan.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler. Spread melted chocolate over the pressed mixture.
  6. Let cool until chocolate is set. Cut into bars and serve.
