Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats

Instructions 

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  2. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  3. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add oats and mix well.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Let cool until set.
