Ingredients

  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced any variety
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 loaf baguette, sliced about 12 slices
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their juices and are tender, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Top each toasted baguette slice with the mushroom mixture. Garnish with fresh parsley.
