Mulberry Tart
A delicious tart made with fresh mulberries.

Crust
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold, cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 3 tablespoon cold water
Filling
- 2 cups fresh mulberries
- 0.5 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add cold water and mix until the dough comes together.
Press the dough into a tart pan, covering the bottom and sides evenly. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Let it cool.
In another bowl, combine mulberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Pour the mixture into the cooled crust.
Bake for another 25 minutes or until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden brown. Let it cool before serving.
