Cake Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh mulberries
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the softened butter and mix until the mixture is crumbly.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
Gently fold in the fresh mulberries.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
